Our Mission

We pride ourselves on being active within the DIY community, helping each other grow to keep punk rock alive.

As we have an aspiration of becoming an inspiration to others, our mission is to one day be an influence to the new generation of punks, as our influences have done for us.

Live Another Day is a DIY alternative punk band with hints of ska punk, pop punk and classic punk all mixed together. Based in Austin, TX, the band's current lineup includes bassist/lead singer Logan Greenberg, drummer Timeo Hennion, lead guitarist Jack Henry and rhythm guitarist Chris Kalamarides.

Formed in 2018, the band agreed on the name Live Another Day in the first rehearsal after writing their self-titled song, “Live Another Day”. Written about living with a rare disease, the band liked the ring to the name and that Christmas, the band recorded their first EP, called the “Live Another Day (Demo Versions) EP”.

In 2020, Live Another Day recorded their first full length LP “Purple Is Underrated”. Completed during the Covid-19 pandemic, the 12 song, 26 minute album took 20 hours to record. The record is full of teenage angst and personal issues including poor sleeping habits, being a loner, physical pain, and trying to find love. The song “Anything” is about moving on from a parasitic relationship and trying to live with the feeling of loss while “Sleepless” was born out of the lack of sleep that Logan was getting during the week. It includes his imagination of creatures attacking him during the night and the ways he tries to cope with them. Later that year, Logan organized a fundraiser concert called “Rock the Causebah” to raise money and awareness for rare diseases. Six local bands including, Live Another Day, played to support the cause. A successful night’s total was $3,072 raised for rare diseases. The band had no idea this show would be the last show they would play for over a year.

In June of 2021, Live Another Day released their next single called “I Find You”. The song is about two awkward teens going on their first date and trying to find their place in the relationship. The band spent one month perfecting the song by making it sound exactly how they wanted it. The rest of 2021 was a slow year for the band as the world was still building trust with the live music industry post Covid-19.

2022 was one the bands most productive years to date. While Logan and Tim were going off to college, the band still played shows most weekends and joined their friends, User Unauthorized, on some dates of their summer west coast tour.

As a whole, 2023 was the band's most fruitful year. The band recorded their newest two song single  “Not Safe This Time”, which is about DIY bands who can’t move on to the next level in their career, while the other bands around them are blowing up. When it was Jack's turn to go off to college in New York, the band invited Chris to join as a permanent addition to the band.

In August 2023, the band recorded their upcoming singles “Disappoint Me” and “One Day” to be released in late 2023. While “Disappoint Me" was written about an acquaintance who only sees things their way, “One Day" is about Logan’s aunt who passed away when he was 12 years old from cancer. “When you're a little kid, you never truly know the people around you”, Logan says.  “All I knew about my aunt Sarah was that she was a high school teacher who liked the Killers and the British version of Big Brother, but I didn’t know the true her. If she were here today, she'd be our biggest fan”
